1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Rolo ("the Service"), operated by Rolo ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use the Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Rolo.

2. Description of Service

Rolo is an AI-powered UGC (user-generated content) video ad generation platform. The Service enables users to:

  • Generate AI avatar videos from text scripts
  • Edit videos with B-roll footage, captions, and call-to-action overlays
  • Preview generated content before committing credits
  • Export finished videos in HD for use in digital advertising campaigns

We continuously improve and update the Service and may modify features, add new capabilities, or retire existing ones at our discretion.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. When registering, you agree to:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Keep your password secure and confidential — you are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
  • Notify us immediately at support@roloads.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account

4. Credits & Payments

Rolo operates on a credit-based system. Credits are deducted only when you approve an HD render — not when generating previews. The following pricing options are available:

  • Pay-as-you-go: $2 per video
  • Credit Packs: $75 for 50 credits, or $200 for 200 credits
  • Pro Subscription: $99/month
  • Agency Subscription: $249/month

Credits purchased through credit packs never expire. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Prices are listed in USD and may be subject to applicable taxes.

5. Refund Policy

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Our refund policy is as follows:

  • Credit Packs: Full refund available within 7 days of purchase, provided no credits from the pack have been used
  • Failed Renders: If a render fails due to a platform error, the credit is automatically refunded to your account
  • Subscriptions: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for the remaining days in a billing cycle.

6. AI-Generated Content

Videos created through Rolo are generated using artificial intelligence technologies. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are solely responsible for ensuring that your generated ads comply with the advertising policies of the platforms where you distribute them (including but not limited to Meta, TikTok, Google, and YouTube)
  • Rolo embeds C2PA (Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity) metadata in generated videos to promote transparency and responsible AI content disclosure
  • You retain full rights to use your generated video content for commercial purposes, including running paid advertising campaigns
  • AI-generated output may occasionally contain imperfections — you should review all content before publishing

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to create, distribute, or promote content that:

  • Is illegal under any applicable law or regulation
  • Contains misleading health, medical, or financial claims
  • Impersonates real individuals without their explicit consent
  • Contains or promotes child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or exploits minors in any way
  • Promotes violence, hatred, or discrimination
  • Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Is designed to deceive, defraud, or mislead consumers

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines without prior notice.

8. Intellectual Property

Rolo and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Rolo and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Specifically:

  • Our Platform: All rights in the Rolo platform, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, remain with Rolo
  • Your Content: You retain all rights to the scripts you write and the videos you generate using the Service
  • License to Us: You grant Rolo a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content solely for the purpose of delivering the Service (e.g., generating and rendering your videos)

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We do not guarantee any specific advertising performance, conversion rates, or business results from using Rolo
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the Service is limited to the total fees you have paid to Rolo in the 12 months preceding the claim

10. Termination

Either you or Rolo may terminate your account at any time:

  • By You: You may close your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting support
  • By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason at our discretion with reasonable notice
  • Unused Credits: Upon account closure, any unused credits from purchased credit packs will be refunded within 30 days

11. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by email. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
